recipe: spiced turmeric latte
A delicious, caffeine free & easy recipe full of warming spices perfect for any time of the day.
Ingredients:
1 tsp ground turmeric powder
6 crushed cardamom pods
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp sweetener of choice
1 cup milk of choice
Dash of water
1/5 nutmeg clove grated fresh for garnish (or powdered but fresh is best)
1cm grated fresh ginger knob
Place all all ingredients except milk in saucepan with a dash of water, bring to a gentle boil for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add milk and warm. Strain, add sweetener and grate over some fresh nutmeg. You could alternatively froth milk separately if you own a coffee machine.
