Constituents

Polyphenols, such as gallic acid, anthocyanins, kaempferol, and quercetin. 

Medicinal use

Relaxation, stress reduction and anti-depressant effects. Rose is also high in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties. It is used in the traditional systems of medicine for the management of inflammatory conditions including arthritis, cough, asthma, bronchitis, wounds, and ulcers.
